RESERVATIONS, DEPOSITS, AND CANCELLATIONS

Us Redrockers look forward to your visit, and sharing some fine adventures. Being a custom, personalized outfit that doesn’t pile you into random groups, we rely on accurate scheduling to allocate guide time, offer you each our complete in-field attention and, yes, fill our bellies enough to maintain strength while escorting you on beautiful, authentic, and often committing backcountry experiences.

Many of our guests book months in advance. This is wonderful, and we highly recommend advance reservations. It also means we defend reserved dates against numerous other inquiries. As well, all trips run regardless of weather. Late cancellations and weather back-outs result in big calendar holes; hence we have clear deposit and refund policies. Please refer to them below. They are different for day trips and multi-day journeys, basecamps, or clinics. In the event of schedule shifts rather than outright cancellations, we can’t promise a reservation switch to your preferred dates, but we will try.

Please plan well, don’t over-schedule your southern Utah travels, and purchase inexpensive travel insurance (contacts below) to protect yourself from cancellation or catastrophe. As always, feel free to call or text us for consultations.

BOOKING, DEPOSIT, AND REFUND POLICIES

 

DAY-LONG ADVENTURES

[] 50% net (w/o tax) deposit to reserve dates.
[] Deposit refund up to 22 days out, less a $75/trip cancellation fee.
[] Three weeks/21 days or less, whole deposit is forfeit.
[] Rescheduling may be possible, but forfeit day deposits do not apply to following calendar year.

 

MULTI-DAY ADVENTURES

[] 50% net (w/o tax) deposit to reserve dates.
[] Multi-day trip deposits can roll over for one calendar year from the start date of cancelled trip, less a 20% penalty. The remaining balance is subject to second year pricing.
[] Multi-day trip deposits are refundable up to 46 days prior to Torrey departure, less a $200/trip cancellation fee. After 45 days, the deposit is forfeit.
[] 100% of trip fees and taxes are required 30 days prior to trip departure.
[] Half of trip fee is refundable up to 31 days prior to trip departure.
[] Entire trip payment is forfeit if cancelled within 30 days.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend inexpensive travel insurance coverage, as well as medical and rescue riders for more adventurous pursuits. Potential packages can include:
